The Portuguese Coastal Camino was a wonderful trip with Mary and Katy from Prayerful Path. I met wonderful people with whom to share this experience. Both Portugal and Spain are beautiful countries with many friendly people and delicious food!

We had a wonderful time. The trip felt very well organized especially with all the taxis and buses everything flowed well. Walking with Mary and Katie with us is a key difference! A few of the accommodations were below expectations especially when they don’t have AC. Also would have preferred a bit more spiritual structure maybe let folks take turns leading the devotional time.

I just got home from walking the Portuguese Coastal Camino with Prayerful Path. Mary and Katie did a wonderful job guiding our group of 12 pilgrims along the way. We were encouraged to walk at our own pace so that we could take time for meditation, prayer and reflection. Mary was always available by phone if she was not walking right beside you. Having two guides meant that no one was left behind. Walking beside the ocean was my favorite experience - it was beautiful. There was minimal walking along busy roads with traffic. I liked having my luggage transported from hotel to hotel so that I didn't have to carry everything with me. We found Spain to be very affordable - I think we all enjoyed sampling some traditional Galician food and wine. Great experience!

Our trip with Prayerful Path was fantastic! Mary and Katie were experts, while walking the Camino. This was our first trip and the experience was more than expected. This got us hooked!! We will definitely be planning another Camino. I would recommend Prayerful Path to anyone wanting to walk the Camino, especially for the first time. The planning that went into it, including, lodging and meals, was finely tuned. Bom Caminho!!

It was a great pilgrimage for me. Have been wanting to walk the path of St Francis of Assisi for some time now and glad this has come to fruition. Realised that it's not exactly easy to navigate the walking route independently (since I am not a fit fiddle) so am glad I got to do this with Prayerful Path. Mary and Katie were great guides. They are adaptable, sensitive to pilgrims' needs and adapted the day's plans accordingly. I appreciated being able to stop at significant points and being able to spend some time to savour the place. it would have been good if we were guided through certain significant places like St Clare's convent and St Mary of the Angels' Basilica, for example since there is so much rich history there. They were not exactly self-explanatory altho some simple signs were available. If there is insufficient time for the group to be guided through, it would be helpful to have a list of other significant areas in the vicinity so pilgrims can plan to make visits and plan to spend more time in these places, in their personal time. For example, the Porziuncola was such a significant place to the Franciscans so it shouldn't be missed. Overall, I am grateful I did this with Prayerful Path.
