It was a great pilgrimage for me. Have been wanting to walk the path of St Francis of Assisi for some time now and glad this has come to fruition. Realised that it's not exactly easy to navigate the walking route independently (since I am not a fit fiddle) so am glad I got to do this with Prayerful Path. Mary and Katie were great guides. They are adaptable, sensitive to pilgrims' needs and adapted the day's plans accordingly. I appreciated being able to stop at significant points and being able to spend some time to savour the place. it would have been good if we were guided through certain significant places like St Clare's convent and St Mary of the Angels' Basilica, for example since there is so much rich history there. They were not exactly self-explanatory altho some simple signs were available. If there is insufficient time for the group to be guided through, it would be helpful to have a list of other significant areas in the vicinity so pilgrims can plan to make visits and plan to spend more time in these places, in their personal time. For example, the Porziuncola was such a significant place to the Franciscans so it shouldn't be missed. Overall, I am grateful I did this with Prayerful Path.

Peace be with you! This is my first time on a pilgrimage and the experience has been a positive one. I am grateful and appreciative of the work put in by the organisers to coordinate all the arrangements from travel, to food and accommodation. Thank you for the good work as I know it's not an easy task. Perhaps it will be good to allow some quiet time in certain places like San Damiano or the Carceri given the significance of these places. Hopefully we can be more prayerful in this journey and I am glad that masses were available. I was privileged to be given rooms with a view and that made the experience truly memorable. Both Katie and Mary are a great company to be with. Thank you once again. Marian

Just finished an amazing journey, our Camino from Caminha, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela. Great people, spectacular scenery, and incredibly tasty food. And having our accommodations planned out was a blessing. All were in the city centers, making the experience even better. We can’t wait to start planning a future experience!
